Clement Lenglet and Tottenham Hotspur have finalised individual contract terms for a three-year duration, as the team continues to negotiate the player’s fee with Barcelona.
As reported by Sport, Tottenham and Barcelona have been deliberating the final fee for the French player for a while now.

Tottenham confirmed Clement Lenglet’s exit on their updated roster after his loan period with the team ended. Nevertheless, he may not have played his last game for the team yet.
Tottenham Secures Three-Year Agreement with Lenglet
According to recent news from Sport, Barcelona is hoping to dispose of Lenglet for about £8.6 million, whereas Tottenham is considering paying half of that quote.

The two teams seem to still be discussing the fee. However, Sport has reported that one obstacle has been overcome with Lenglet agreeing to a three-year contract with Tottenham.
It’s highlighted that Barcelona has to offload Lenglet in summer to decrease their wage bill. Hence, Tottenham must be feeling quite certain of reaching an agreement over the fee.
Acquiring Lenglet might not cause much fanfare or significantly boost Tottenham’s shirt sales. Nonetheless, it could be a savvy business move.
The transfer would at most cost less than £10 million from the transfer budget, and Lenglet, at 27, has had a year to become familiar with the Premier League.
The deal could be considered more crucial for Barcelona than for Tottenham at this stage. Therefore, it’ll be intriguing to see if Tottenham holds out for longer in the fee negotiations.
