Tottenham Hotspur’s Cristian Romero has replied after teammate Sergio Reguilon hinted at being injured by him during a recent training session.
The club is buzzing under the new management of Ange Postecoglou, who is testing players rigourously during practice. The club’s supporters are eagerly anticipating how their team will fare under the new leadership.
Reguilon has returned to Tottenham following a disheartening loan period last season, apparently injuring himself in the first training session post return.

Cristian Romero’s reaction to Sergio Reguilon’s graphic leg photo
The aggressive playing style of Cristian Romero makes him one of the premier defenders in the league, earning him the admiration of Tottenham fans.
He dares to jump into tackles without a second thought about injuring himself or others, as long as his team gets the ball back.
Reguilon posted a photo on Instagram of his leg injury, which was apparently inflicted by Romero during training.
The Spanish player captioned the image as “Cuti is back”, hinting at Romero being the cause of the injury.
Romero saw this post and decided to reply.
“How much will you cry, baby,” was his retort.

An opinion on the matter:
Romero’s response was rather typical of him, wasn’t it?
His aggressive style of play earns him much respect from Tottenham supporters, as it fits perfectly in the Premier League.
However, his over-aggressiveness cost the team precious points last season, something that needs to be rectified. It is anticipated that manager Postecoglou will address this issue before the start of the upcoming season.
Romero’s performance under new management in the forthcoming season will be an intriguing aspect to observe.
