Bayern Munich Proposes Weekly Wages to Lure Harry Kane to Their Ranks

Bayern Munich is reportedly willing to make Harry Kane the most well-recompensed player in the team to secure his transfer this summer from Tottenham Hotspur, as per The Athletic’s report.

The Athletic suggests Bayern Munich is poised to shell out a record-breaking payment to secure Kane’s services.

Discussions have been circulating over the past few weeks about Kane’s future between Spurs and Bayern.

The two football clubs held conversations on Monday, but a discrepancy of £20 million in valuation still exists, according to Sky Sports.

In an attempt to secure his stay beyond the summer, Tottenham is reportedly willing to considerably increase Kane’s wages, according to The Guardian.

On the contrary, to lure him into their club, Bayern is ready to propose a hefty salary to Kane.

Bayern’s Proposed Payment to Kane

The Athletic suggests that should Kane accept Bayern’s offer this summer, he would become the top earner of the club.

Kane would reportedly earn an impressive £412,000 every week, matching the earnings of Robert Lewandowski and Sadio Mane.

Currently, at Tottenham, Kane’s weekly earnings are approximately £200,000, allowing for a significant increase with a new contract.

Kane’s next career move, however, won’t solely depend on financial benefits, as his focus is also on winning major titles.

It’s unclear at this point if Kane believes he can reach his career aspirations while at Tottenham.

Spurs are hoping that their switch to Ange Postecoglou would persuade their highest-scoring player of all time to stay on the team.
