Japhet Tanganga Talks about Recent Training Session with Postecoglou at Tottenham

Japhet Tanganga has shared his thoughts on the training sessions led by Tottenham Hotspur’s new coach, Ange Postecoglou as the pre-season kickstarts.

The 24-year-old player took to Instagram to express his feelings as Tottenham embarks on its preparations for the next season.

It’s an invigorating period for Tottenham with the integration of Ange Postecoglou with his new team.

Spurs have shown activity in the transfer market, with two fresh signings already.

Guglielmo Vicario, the goalkeeper, and James Maddison, the midfielder, will soon start training with their new colleagues.

For now, international players are not back with the main team.

Despite this, Postecoglou has a fairly good team to work with as he gears up for his initial Premier League season.

Among those involved in the training is Japhet Tanganga, the young defender.

The talented player from the academy has been rumored to leave the club this summer but now presents an opportunity to impress the newly appointed coach.

Tanganga has voiced his thoughts on Postecoglou’s training sessions and seems to be engrossed in the process.

Given Tottenham’s defense issues in the last season, the 24-year-old might see a chance to make a significant entry into the team.

What Tanganga had to say about Postecoglou’s Training

In an Instagram story, Tanganga was seen warming up with fellow defender Djed Spence.

The duo is seen laughing while Tanganga captioned the moment: “All fun and games before the runs.”

Videos have started to surface showing the team in intensive training.

Yesterday, Tottenham shared a video on Twitter with the squad involved in a fast-paced, two-touch game.

It’s difficult to infer much from just a small part of Tottenham’s training session.

However, the swift movement of the ball and rapid linking of plays seem different from the way Antonio Conte trained the team.

Tanganga’s future at Tottenham is uncertain owing to his minimal playtime in recent seasons.

He only started two Premier League matches last season and has not surpassed 750 minutes of playtime in a Spurs season.

Keeping up with Postecoglou’s intensive training will at least keep Tanganga in shape for the new seasons onset.

However, whether he’ll still be with Tottenham when the season starts remains to be seen.
