Tottenham is gearing up to part ways with multiple players this summer to raise funds, with Djed Spence among the outgoing.
Spence was brought on board just a year ago for a sum around £20m. Antonio Conte, at the time, voiced his belief in Spence as a future asset numerous times, however, the right-back had few chances to prove his worth.
It now seems Tottenham is fully prepared to cut ties with Spence.
The Evening Standard reports that Tottenham has put Spence along with several other first-team members up for sale.
The goal here is to collect some funds to assist Ange Postecoglou in transforming his team.

Following a standout season with Nottingham Forest – where he was instrumental in their promotion – Spence was recruited by Tottenham.
Though Forest showed initial interest in keeping him around permanently, Spurs ended up being Spence’s chosen landing spot.
Regrettably, the plan didn’t pan out, and it now seems very likely that Spence will be departing.
Teams will take the gamble, though it means a financial hit for Spurs
Several clubs are willing to wager on Djed Spence. His talent is evident and he showed considerable potential during his time at Forest.
The difficulty for Tottenham lies in recovering the initial £20m outlay. Not many clubs are prepared to pay such an amount for Spence right now.
It’s not a criticism on Spence for making the move to Tottenham and testing his limits. However, the situation hasn’t been ideal from the outset, and a new beginning might just be what he needs.
