26-Year-Old Player Targeted for Tottenham by Daniel Levy Himself

According to Fabrizio Romano, Daniel Levy is personally attempting to bring James Maddison to Tottenham Hotspur during this transfer window.

With major changes expected at Spurs this summer, they seem to be nearing an agreement for Maddison under the guidance of manager Ange Postecoglou.

Postecoglou considers the Leicester City player to be his main priority in restructuring his midfield lineup.

The Athletic reported recently that Tottenham is likely to finalize a deal with Leicester to acquire Maddison this week.

The 26-year-old has been on Spurs’ radar for some time, and Levy is now actively engaged in talks with Leicester to secure the player.

Levy Pursues Maddison Deal

On Tuesday, Romano reported on Twitter that Tottenham has agreed on personal terms with Maddison.

Levy aims to secure the midfielder’s signing as quickly as possible, the journalist added.
