TalkSPORT analyst Darren Bent suggests that Tottenham Hotspur‘s leading player Harry Kane might be attracted to the prospect of shifting to Chelsea under coach Mauricio Pochettino this summer season.
It’s another season where Spurs fans are faced with fresh speculations about their star forward on a daily basis. Kane has always been a player in demand and this summer is no different with Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain reportedly desiring to sign him (90min).
Chelsea is also in the hunt for a new striker and Pochettino’s presence there has sparked off rumors about Kane potentially moving to the Blues. Bent affirmed on TalkSPORT that Kane might be keen on such a move.

Darren Bent foresees Harry Kane’s possible departure from Tottenham to Chelsea
Gossips are rampant surrounding Harry Kane’s future with Tottenham.
Jose Enrique, in an Instagram story on June 7th, 2022, had referred to Kane as a ‘highly underappreciated‘ player. He would be moving to the final year of his contract this Saturday. If Tottenham doesn’t sell him now, they may have to release him for free the same time next year.
According to reports, Bayern Munich is very interested in Kane who is open to a move to Germany as reported by Fabrizio Romano on YouTube.
However, Bent maintains that Kane would prefer a move to Chelsea to join forces with his former manager, Mauricio Pochettino.
Bent expressed: “I think he’d have preferred a move to Manchester City (last summer), but that’s clearly not happening.
“His preference, I believe, is Chelsea because of Pochettino.”

TBR’s Perspective:
Apart from Arsenal, Chelsea would be the last destination Tottenham supporters would want Harry Kane to end up at.
The two London clubs have a chilly relationship and rarely conduct trades with each other. It’s unlikely to see a change this summer, but one can never predict in football.
If Kane indeed nurtures a desire to shift to Chelsea and reunite with Pochettino, it’s more likely to occur when he’s free from his current contract next year.
However, such a move would certainly devastate the Spurs fans’ hearts.
