Feyenoord’s Santiago Gimenez has purportedly piqued Tottenham Hotspur’s interest.

Rumors about Tottenham eyeing Gimenez have been floating around for some time, with 90Min suggesting Spurs’ interest.

The Lilywhites are presently worrying over Kane’s prospective future amidst revelations stating he won’t sign a new agreement this summer.

Sky Sports claims that the Tottenham poster-boy is interested in formally discussing a possible transfer to Bayern Munich.

If Spurs choose to sell Kane, they’ll need to swiftly replace him with a capable player before the new season kicks off.

Nevertheless, Feyenoord’s chief manager, Dennis te Kloese, stands firm on his decision not to part ways with Gimenez.

When asked by ESPN about Tottenham and Benfica’s rumored interest in the 22-year-old, Te Kloese expressed his intention of keeping him at Feyenoord.

Te Kloese revealed: “We have a long-term contract with Gimenez. I truly believe that he would gain valuable experience and perform at his best in the Champions League here.”

Te Kloese emphasized that in an ideal world, Gimenez would remain a player for Feyenoord, praising the team’s past year’s performance and vision for the future.

Our Opinion

Although Spurs supporters might find Te Kloese’s words disappointing, it’s unlikely he’s going to openly invite bids for his star player.

Gimenez has been improving rapidly in the Netherlands, quickly becoming one of the most promising young forwards globally.

A recent statement from Breaking the Lines hailed the left-footed player as ‘one of the rising stars in European football.’

Breaking the Lines described Gimenez as a formidable threat in front of the goal, possessing both power and accuracy.

Undoubtedly, the optimal situation would be for Kane to sign a fresh contract and spend the rest of his career with Tottenham.

However, whispers of Kane seeking a transfer necessitate Spurs to plan and respond appropriately.
