Tottenham’s Sanchez, who does not appear to have a future with the team, might find a way out via Fulham, according to a 90min report.
Fulham Considers Recruiting Davinson Sanchez from Tottenham
Davinson Sanchez was acquired by Tottenham from Ajax in 2017 for a record-breaking fee at the time.
The Colombian player was seen as a rising star back then, and there was a wide consensus that Spurs had snatched up an extraordinary talent with great potential.
Looking at the matter six years later, it’s clear that Sanchez has not quite lived up to expectations. Over time, he has made numerous errors and has struggled to make his mark in North London.
Sanchez has reportedly been advised by Tottenham to seek a new club this month. There are numerous possibilities for the 27-year-old, with the likes of Strasbourg and Spartak Moscow possible contenders. Galatasaray is also rumored to be interested.
Fulham has reportedly also expressed interest, as Marco Silva is keen on strengthening his defence in preparation for the upcoming season, which is only a week away.
Sanchez’s contract with Tottenham is set to expire within the year.
