Postecoglou may offload Tottenham player without prior evaluation

As he plans to revamp his roster, Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou is prepared to part ways with several big-name players over the summer.

Postecoglou is expected to meet his Spurs players for the first time, and then make major determinations regarding certain individuals’ prospects with the team.

The Daily Mail suggests that midfielder Tanguy Ndombele is among those who won’t be incorporated into the squad.

Tottenham set to offload Ndombele

Based on information from The Athletic over the weekend, The Mail’s article indicates that as many as ten players might be transferred by the new Tottenham manager.

While the original story proposed that Ndombele and others might have a chance, The Mail claims that the French footballer is unlikely to receive an opportunity to showcase his skills.

Posteocoglou will reportedly dispatch Ndombele along with Gio Lo Celso, even before they begin training.

Napoli is said to be interested in bringing Ndombele back to Italy. Having won the Serie A championship, the Spurs player could be tempted to return to Naples.

Despite being dubbed ‘magnificent’ by Jose Mourinho and remaining Tottenham’s record signing, Ndombele has faced difficulties with various managers.

Crucial choices ahead

Tottenham is a team that needs a manager who can make bold choices about its roster.

The club has been plagued by mediocrity for too long, and players such as Ndombele, Lo Celso, Winks, and others will never meet Tottenham’s standards.

Transferring these players swiftly would be beneficial for Postecoglou. Receiving funds in exchange for them would be a bonus for Tottenham as well.

It is clear that Ndombele will not succeed at Spurs. A departure is necessary for all parties, and if Napoli is interested, Spurs should finalize the deal.
