Tottenham has seemingly lost interest in Max Kilman.
This is reported by Ben Jacobs during his appearance on The Debrief Podcast, speaking about the Wolves’ defender.
Despite being consistently connected with Spurs for almost a year, Tottenham seems to have cooled their interest in signing the defender, who is valued at £30m, following an underwhelming 2022/23 season.
Jacobs suggested that Spurs are now considering other players like Edmond Tapsoba, Micky Van de Ven, and Tosin Adarabioyo instead, with Kilman no longer being an option.
Kilman no longer in the picture
Jacobs disclosed his knowledge on the matter.
One of the football analysts, Fabrizio, has mentioned about potential prospects such as Tapsoba and Van de Ven and even Adarabioyo from Fulham. They previously considered Max Kilman, but currently, he is not on the list. His ability to handle pressure and maneuver in tight spaces is commendable. However, his subpar performance in the last season might be the turn off,” conveyed Jacobs.
Market Value hit hard
It should be noted that the market value of Max Kilman has seen a significant dip over the past 12 months.
He was a rising star after his initial stint at Wolves, but his form seems to have dipped lately.
While it was a disappointing season for everyone at Wolves, Kilman’s slump may have potentially jeopardized his chance to join a prominent club.
However, if Kilman manages to rebound this season, a possible move could be revisited. For now, it seems less likely that he will move to any top-tier clubs in the near future.
