Despite speculation, Hugo Lloris has not moved closer to an exit from Tottenham Hotspur this summer as clubs have not shown much enthusiasm in recruiting the French goalkeeper.
According to reports from The Independent, Lloris has struggled to finalize a departure from his club based in North London.
During Tottenham’s pre-season tour of Asia last month, Lloris abstained, staying home to familiarize himself with potential transfer options.
Fellow teammate Ange Postecoglou has verbally recognized that Lloris is expected to transfer this summer, after spending 11 years with Tottenham.
After losing his position to substitute goalkeeper Fraser Forster, Lloris may have marked Newcastle United’s 6-1 pummeling as his last game for the club.
While Lloris has been a strong asset to Tottenham over the years, his departure is anticipated, albeit not happening immediately.

Lloris’ departure from Tottenham is unconfirmed
The Independent has communicated that Lloris has not managed to finalize an exit from Tottenham.
Although a potential transfer to Paris Saint-Germain was rumored, this is no longer a feasible destination after the signing of Arnau Tenas by the Ligue 1 champions.
Lloris, who was transferred to Tottenham for only £12 million in the summer of 2012, has proven to be a significant asset to the club.
The ex-France captain has been among the top goalkeepers in the Premier League for a couple of seasons. However, his best performances in a Spurs uniform are likely behind him.

Postecoglou is eager to streamline his squad before the trading period concludes after including 31 players on the pre-season tour.
It was assumed that Lloris would have secured a transfer by this point, but there appear to be no concrete offers for him currently.
While interest from Saudi Arabia has been reported, it’s unclear whether Lloris is considering a move to the Middle East.
