The Athletic reported this development, indicating that Tottenham is likely to turn down the offer, given their desires to retain their star player this summer season.

Recently, there has been increasing buzz regarding Harry Kane’s next career move. Tottenham fans were starting to envision the 29-year-old serving as the frontline player for Ange Postecoglou’s team in the coming year.

Nonetheless, Bayern appears to be formulating a deal, with The Athletic reporting that an initial bid for the striker has been made.

With one year left on his contract, the current offer doesn’t seem tempting enough for Tottenham to give Kane the release.

Interestingly, The Athletic suggests that Bayern Munich is hopeful of securing a deal for Kane. The report also mentions that Kane has shown interest in joining the Bundesliga champions following a conversation with Thomas Tuchel.

The developments in the forthcoming weeks will be crucial. Daniel Levy, known for his hefty bargaining, might demand a much higher price before even contemplating releasing Kane.

Yet, Bayern seems to have a golden chance to sign this ‘exceptional‘ player. Kane reportedly expresses a wish to join the by Allianz Arena. Furthermore, his contract condition implies that he might come at a relative bargain.

If Kane intends to head to Germany this summer, he will have to express his desire unequivocally. Likewise, Levy will have to reduce his demands.

Regardless of the outcome, the ongoing speculations may not be favourable for Tottenham, particularly if they continue throughout the summer transfer period.
