“Tottenham Player Dejan Kulusevski Shares Details of Half-Time Fury”

Dejan Kulusevski has disclosed that Tottenham’s manager, Ange Postecoglou, expressed significant irritation during the half-time of Tottenham’s recent game against Shakhtar Donetsk.

In a Sunday game held in North London, Tottenham achieved a whopping 5-1 victory over the team from Ukraine. The highlight of the match was undoubtedly Harry Kane’s impressive four-goal contribution.

In the first half, Tottenham created an ample amount of scoring opportunities but couldn’t break through until the 38th minute.

Kane flawlessly converted a penalty awarded to Tottenham, thanks to the skillful maneuverings of James Maddison within Shakhtar’s penalty area.

Despite this, Spurs let Shakhtar sneak back into the match just before the end of the first half when Kevin Kelsy’s goal got passed Tottenham’s goalie, Guglielmo Vicario.

As per Dejan Kulusevski’s conversation with Football.London, the Tottenham manager was far from pleased with the team’s approach to the game in the concluding minutes of the first half.

Kulusevski’s Thoughts on Posteccoglou

Kulusevski confessed that Postecoglou was clearly upset with Tottenham for retreating after achieving the lead.

“I have a great deal of respect for him,” Kulusevski remarked. “I remember him being quite annoyed at half-time because we quit playing for around five minutes – something you can’t afford to do. Consistent gameplay is crucial.

“Just because you’re feeling exhausted, it doesn’t mean you should surrender possession of the ball. Things like this cannot happen. I respect him and am keen on enhancing my performance under his guidance.”

Postecoglou’s half-time speech resonated with the Tottenham players, resulting in an additional four goals scored during the second half—three by Kane and one by his replacement, Dane Scarlett.

Postecoglou’s strategy involves heavy offensive tactics and pressurizing the opposing team. Naturally, he wasn’t pleased when he saw his team retreat after being ahead with one goal.

Undoubtedly, the majority of Tottenham players, formerly under the guidance of Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho, will find Postecoglou’s approach quite different and challenging.

However, this new change could lead to a thrilling new season, with a manager who champions attractive, engaging, and proactive football gameplay.
