Tottenham’s 26-Year-Old Player Hits the Transfer List

The midfielder of Tottenham Hotspur, Tanguy Ndombele, is reportedly on the transfer list, despite recently impressing Ange Postecoglou.

As the transfer window approaches, Tottenham is expected to be quite busy as they plan to decrease their oversized team.

Guglielmo Vicario, James Maddison, Manor Solomon, and Ashley Phillips have already been acquired by Postecoglou.

Highly appreciated Argentine prodigy Alejo Veliz and Wolfsburg’s central defender Micky van de Ven are likely next in line to join.

However, Tottenham’s main focus could shift towards departures, with Ndombele potentially being among the many players making their exit.

Ndombele Now Up for Transfer

According to The Evening Standard, Ndombele has officially been listed for transfer by Spurs, and Davinson Sanchez and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg might follow as well.

Ndombele’s placement on the list comes shortly after Postecoglou expressed his admiration for Ndombele’s pre-season performance.

“Tanguy has shown great performance,” he revealed to Football.London on July 10th. “All the players have been practicing hard because they didn’t have a choice!

“I am straightforward and he was part of a team that won the Serie A last season, he’s been working pretty well.

“Keeping that in mind, I’m happy to have him as part of our team. What this could imply for the future is uncertain. He might decide that he doesn’t want to be a part of this.”

Up to this point, Ndombele has not participated in the pre-season due to an injury he sustained during Tottenham’s Asia tour.

The 26-year-old player recently got back from a loan stint in Napoli where he helped the team secure the Serie A championship.

However, it seems like Postecoglou has made up his mind about Ndombele, and the player is now free to leave the team this summer.

Ndombele has had numerous opportunities to prosper at Spurs with various managers. However, it might be best for all involved if he finds a new permanent home this upcoming summer.
