Fabrizio Romano has reported that Tottenham is interested in acquiring Edmond Tapsoba this summer, having closely followed him during the previous season.
In recent days, Tapsoba has become one of Spurs’ top objectives due to his standout performances in Germany, which could lead to a transfer to England.
Tottenham is said to be eager to secure his services. In his Here We Podcast, Romano disclosed that Spurs’ scouts “adore” Tapsoba and view him as an excellent addition to their team.
“I don’t think it will be around £70m. Perhaps more in the range of £45-50m, possibly including additional bonuses,” Romano remarked.
“I constantly stress that Tapsoba is a top priority because Tottenham is very fond of Tapsoba. Their scouts have observed him multiple times. They genuinely admire him and believe he is a great fit for Premier League soccer. However, they also have two other names on their radar. Tapsoba isn’t their only target.
