Jamie O’Hara and Jason Cundy, two talkSPORT presenters, got into a heated discussion about Tottenham Hotspur’s striker Harry Kane after Bayern Munich submitted two separate offers.

Kane, an English footballer, is at the end of his contract with the Spurs. His future at the club has become the subject of numerous rumors, with some individuals suggesting that he may be considering a move away from Tottenham in the current transfer window.

Bayern Munich has shown strong interest in signing Kane, and Jason Cundy, a co-presenter, believes it would be wise for Tottenham to cash in. However, according to talkSPORT, O’Hara completely disagrees with Cundy’s opinion, calling it ‘utterly non-sensical.’

Jamie O’Hara and Jason Cundy Debate Harry Kane’s Future at Tottenham

The current situation puts Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy in a tough spot, as he must make critical decisions regarding Harry Kane’s future during this summer’s transfer period.

From a financial perspective, selling Kane, who could fetch around £100 million, might seem like a smart business move. If they choose not to sell him, he may well leave next year for free.

However, from a football aspect, it would be risky for Spurs to let go of Kane, their key player. They heavily relied on his goal contributions last season, and his absence could have a significant impact on the team’s standing in the upcoming season.

Cundy believes that Tottenham should capitalize on Kane’s market value, and invest the proceeds into strengthening the team. A view strongly opposed by O’Hara.

Cundy argues that, “Levy might believe Harry Kane will renew his contract, an option he could test. But given that Bayern Munich has shown a keen interest, and offered a deal, I believe the smartest decision for everyone, including Postecoglou, Spurs, Daniel Levy, and even Harry Kane, is to take the deal now and focus on the upcoming season and beyond.”

A visibly irritated OHara retorted, “This is ridiculous, utterly ridiculous. How can you even suggest such a thing?”
