Paris Saint-Germain, the French champions, are now confident that they have the persuasive power to ensure Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur joins their team in the forthcoming weeks.
Recognised as a ‘well-rounded’ striker by Thierry Henry on CBS Sports, Kane is approaching the end of his contract with Spurs. His future thus remains in the balance. Despite Daniel Levy’s desperate attempts to retain him, it is proving to be a daunting task with less than a year left in his contract.
Born out of immense interest to acquire Kane, Bayern Munich have already put forth several offers. The Independent now reports that PSG have also entered this competitive race and are gaining a foothold.

PSG is Confident in Their Ability to Persuade Harry Kane of Tottenham to Join Their Ranks
Until recently, the general assumption was that if Harry Kane was to leave Tottenham this summer, he would remain in England.
However, the circumstances have now changed.
Recent reports suggest that Kane is open to joining Bayern Munich and allegedly already has an ‘agreement’ with them. This might explain why the German champions are so persistent in their pursuit. But PSG are geared up to put a spanner in the works.
The report reveals that Paris Saint-Germain are ready to match any bid that Bayern puts forth for Kane this summer.
The French flag bearers are of the belief that the Tottenham player would consider shifting base to France with a view of achieving Champions League success on French soil.
The report states that the latest bid by Bayern for Kane was £80 million, an amount that PSG could effortlessly exceed if they decide to put forth an official bid in the upcoming days.

TBR’s Opinion:
Tottenham is keen on retaining Kane and is prepared to walk the extra mile to ensure he stays.
Reports this week have revealed that Daniel Levy has communicated to Kane’s representatives that he is ready to make Kane one of the highest recompensed players in Europe. He has even offered a role post his retirement.
Even though this offer is incredibly appealing, PSG has the financial muscle to outbid not just Tottenham but most other clubs, if it comes to it.
Should PSG decide to place a bid for Kane in the next couple of days, the unfolding scenario would be quite intriguing.
