Currently, Tottenham Hotspur is focusing on reinforcing its defense for the upcoming matches.
With Ange Postecoglou at the helm, the Spurs have already integrated several valuable players into their line-up.
They have finalized the signing of Dejan Kulusevski along with bringing on board Guglielmo Vicario and James Maddison.

Rumour has it that Spurs might be interested in Micky van de Ven from Wolfsburg and Edmond Tapsoba to bolster their defense.
Sky Sport Germany released an update on Van de Ven’s status, indicating that the player is open to exploring opportunities outside his current club.
They also cite other media reports that speculate Tottenham to be a leading contender to sign the Dutch defender.
However, as of Friday morning, Tottenham has yet to make a formal proposal to Wolfsburg for Van de Ven.
Concurrently, Wolfsburg has been prepping for a future without Van de Ven, including players like Sebastiaan Bornauw, Maxence Lacroix, Moritz Jenz, and Cedric Zesiger in their plans.
Despite having a plethora of central defenders, Tottenham must realize that Wolfsburg is likely to put up a strong front when it comes to letting go of Van de Ven.
As per Sky Sport Germany’s report, Wolfsburg expects a transfer fee of over €30 million to release Van de Ven.

Our perspective
Van de Ven could potentially bring significant value to Tottenham’s squad.
Since transferring to Wolfsburg from FC Volendam in 2021, this 22-year-old Dutch player has consistently showcased his skills on the field.
In the previous season, Van de Ven appeared in 26 club games, including 33 matches in the Bundesliga.
Additionally, his robust leadership skills were on display when he captained the Netherlands Under-21s.
His remarkable physical strength, tall stature, and speed, coupled with his quality play and positive attitude, make Van de Ven a prospect worth considering.
For less than £30 million, Tottenham has the chance to secure a gifted player who exhibits strong potential to rise to stardom.
All signs suggest that things are moving in a positive direction, and we look forward to an imminent deal.
