Bayern Munich Takes Steps to Open Negotiation with Tottenham Over Kane

The issue concerning Harry Kane and Tottenham still persists as we head into August.

Kane is being considered for a spot in the German heavyweight team, while Daniel Levy mulls over the possibility of pocketing approximately £100m or risking losing their key player for nothing in the following summer.

For Tottenham, losing Kane would present a significant setback. However, there is also a strong rationality behind banking the money today and it appears that Ange Postecoglou may not be greatly disturbed if Kane is sold off.

As per recent information from BILD in Germany, Bayern has begun to accelerate their plans to acquire Kane.

In anticipation of a probable meeting with Daniel Levy, BILD reports that Bayern has permitted two of their chief personnel to exit pre-season in order to finalize the deal.

It is reported that CEO Jan-Christian Deesen and team strategist Marco Neeper have excused themselves from the club’s tour of east Asia to expedite proceedings with Kane and Spurs.

The meeting with the Bayern duo, set by Daniel Levy, seems to have been rescheduled. However, it appears inevitable that discussions will take place sooner or later.

Kane, who is ‘underrated’, is yet to break his silence regarding his future with the Spurs. However, it is suggested that he is contemplating the transfer.

The Decision-Making Time is Fast Approaching

Daniel Levy will need to make a decision soon. He will have to either sell off Kane and allocate enough time for finding a substitute, or he can outrightly refuse it now and call it off.

Regardless, Tottenham needs to understand the situation before the season catches speed.

Before one realizes, August will end and if Kane exits, the entire matter would have caused a huge interruption.

This situation is approaching the critical stage, and Levy must realise this on the inner level.
