Tottenham has recently been notified that they can go ahead and acquire Japanese forward, Daichi Kamada. This comes after his anticipated move to AC Milan didn’t work out.
Initially, Kamada was set out to join the Italian club, AC Milan. However, 90Min reports indicate that the deal broke down when Milan opted to discontinue the process.
It is reported by 90Min that Kamada’s agents have since reached out to Tottenham, along with several other interested clubs, revealing that the player is back in the transfer list.
Exiting Frankfurt recently, Kamada, who is currently unattached, remarkably impressed in the Qatar World Cup. His performance drew accolades from Thierry Henry.
Labelled as ‘fantastic’ by Frankfurt, Kamada would be an appealing prospect for Tottenham’s new coach, Ange Postecoglou.
Having previously managed several successful Japanese players at Celtic, Postecoglou would be a hit amongst Tottenham fans if he can fetch the same success collaborating with Kamada.
It is worth mentioning that multiple teams aside from Tottenham have been updated about Kamada’s readiness for transfer, thus, his move to Tottenham isn’t assured.
