News: Top-Rated Striker Likely to Renew Contract, Disregarding Tottenham’s Pursuit as Kane’s Potential Replacement

Though there may be a significant chance of Harry Kane leaving Tottenham this forthcoming summer, finding a replacement for him appears to be more challenging than anticipated.

Even if Tottenham could rake in approximately £100m from Kane’s sale, the notion of a readily available replacement on the market verges on absurdity.

A few forwards who Spurs may find appealing are indeed available. Randal Kolo Muani is reportedly topping Tottenham’s list, with Ivan Toney also being a notable mention.

Regrettably, one viable option who will not be joining Tottenham this summer is Victor Osimhen, Napoli’s reputable striker.

Reports indicate that Victor Osimhen would be the prime choice for Daniel Levy should Kane be sold.

However, as per reports from Sky Sports, Osimhen is predicted to turn down Tottenham and other interested parties by renewing his contract at Napoli.

Osimhen, the ‘remarkable’ Nigerian star, is currently one of football’s most sought-after talents. Despite this, the forward seems content at Napoli and is on the verge of agreeing to an extension.

Sky has reported that a £130m release clause is being incorporated into Osimhen’s new contract. Whether this would persuade any club to invest in the future remains unknown.

Unlikely Scenario

It’s common knowledge that Daniel Levy is an audacious businessman. However, the possibility that he could outcompete other parties in Europe for Victor Osimhen’s signature seems improbable.

If Napoli were to agree on a deal with Spurs, there’s a high probability several other clubs would join the race to acquire Osimhen.

Osimhen’s top-notch skills make him an extremely valuable player. While Tottenham might heavily desire him, his new contract demonstrates how difficult it will be to draw him away from Napoli.

It’s time for Levy to look elsewhere.
